Position Title Maintenance Technician
General Statement of Function

The primary function of the Maintenance Technician will be to perform maintenance activities, complete work orders and perform preventive maintenance in all areas of building support for the campus.

Qualifications/Skills

High school diploma or Equivalent education
2-3 years of relative experience

Job Description

• Complete work orders as received from the Director of Maintenance.
• Performs general welding and fabrication for buildings and equipment.
• Maintains and repairs college HVAC, lights, water, and plumbing.
• Performs scheduled preventive maintenance in all areas of the campus.
o HVAC
o Lights
o Water
o Plumbing
o Room by room inspection for proper functioning doors, cabinets and windows, etc.
• Performs scheduled corrective maintenance on doors, cabinets, and windows, etc.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on all fleet vehicles.
• Assist with relocation, replacement and removal of facility inventory.
• Deliver copy paper and large packages to all staff.
• Performs all areas of carpentry (painting, sheet rock repair, and flooring, etc.) as needed.
• Works with grounds crew on projects.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
