|General Statement of Function||
The general duties of this position will be to teach music major courses, music appreciation, and to recruit and conduct the choral ensembles during regular fall/spring semesters (day and/or evening) and possibly summer sessions. Duties also include advising.
1.Master’s degree in Music Education/Music Performance or Master’s degree with a concentration in Music Education/Music Performance (a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in Music Education/Music Performance are required). Experience or course work with choral music/voice is preferable. Equivalent Education, related work experience, demonstrated competencies in the discipline, and achievements that contribute to effective teaching and student learning outcomes will be considered.
1. Attend faculty meetings and computer training sessions.
